About the studio

Invis Matters is what I build when the right thing simply isn't there. I usually make what I'd want to use — and do use myself — but couldn't find on the market. So I had to build it. Right now there are five public products: Precise Spend, Rounds & Commands, Cardcrews, NomiPad and Invistools.

Revolutionary receipt tracking: photograph the slip, and in seconds you get not "$80 — groceries", but every line item on its own, with its own category. Or just dictate the spend by voice when scanning isn't practical.

Milk goes under food, dish gel under household, diapers under kids. Bought a coffee at a stall — there may be no receipt, or scanning is slow and awkward: just say quickly what you bought and for how much. Import the bank statement from CSV, XLSX, or OFX — the app reconciles it against the receipts. The photo is destroyed the moment you confirm. Installs on a phone as an app.

An interval timer for boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, CrossFit, or HIIT. It announces rounds and rest, and during work it calls out voice commands — combos, slips, bursts. Runs in the browser and as a phone PWA.

A loyalty-card wallet made to share: family, housemates or a crew of friends keep one stack, instead of handing around copies of the plastic.

Supermarket, pharmacy, gym cards — in one stack. Share a single card or a whole folder: a friend gets view-only, a crew gets guest, member and admin roles. They can see the stack — they don't file into yours. To flash it at the till, scan a QR or barcode from the camera or a photo: Code 128, EAN, UPC stay as scanned, not rewritten as a QR. A fast, careful notepad for logs, Markdown and code: open the gigabyte log, edit it, save it.

Files are memory-mapped instead of loaded into RAM, so a 1 GB log opens in about a millisecond, and a save atomically rewrites only the lines you changed. Encoding (UTF-8, UTF-16, Windows-1252), line endings and BOM stay exactly as they were until you change them. Live Markdown, highlighting for 18 languages via Tree-sitter, and a warning when another program changes the file under you.
